Description
This pattern is included in Feathering the Nest 3
Mary Mary was inspired by the nursery rhyme “Mary Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockle shells, and pretty maids all in a row”
The basket and floral applique represent the garden with its flowers and creatures, and Mary herself, swinging from a branch, surrounded by a garden arch of appliqued English Paper Pieced Snowflake blocks. In the corners are rows of shells, birds, insects and flowers and ‘ballerina’ maids dance in rows under the basket. Finished size is approximately 62×70″ A pack containing the papers and templates for the custom designed Snowflake blocks is also available
